Seems as if most of my climbing friends have been able to go somewhere warm and sunny for the week. I have some obligations keeping me in P-town, but would like to go to Smith for a couple of days. I can be flexible with the days I go. I can lead 10a/b sport, and can claw my way up an 11a on TR. I can follow 9a trad, but let's just say I haven't been practicing my trad leading very much.

We'd also have a place to crash!

Send me a PM if interested.

Thanks!

Hi Elaine-

We live in Bend, climb Smith semi-weekly, and will be around for most of Spring Break. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are wide open, and Tuesday and Thursday afternoon/evening as well. I lead 5.9ish, we all climb 5.9 and are working into 5.10's, and we love to boulder. We have never trad climbed. Our car is broken down right now, hoping to have it fixed this week, but can't guarantee solid transport... If you don't find anyone to climb with, give us a call, and maybe we'll find a way to meet up and climb! Good luck!

I'd be interested in heading to Smith this week around Weds. 3/28 from Seattle. Have reliable car, rope, full rack and the desire to climb. I'm getting back into it after working too much for a couple of years and can probably lead 5.6-5.7 gear, maybe 5.8 sport. Can belay to 5.14b. 14c in a pinch. Sense of humor intact if cardio conditioning is a bit pre-marathon. No need to return to Seattle on Sunday 4/1 but flexible. Need to be back in Seattle by 4/9.
