Dannible Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I'm going up for a couple of days of climbing and skiing. Does anyone know how the ice is looking up there? Its been a little warm, but I think for the most part below freezing. Quote
chris Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 (edited) Dude, it hasn't been above freezing for a while - Mon and Tue highs were both in the upper 20's. I was up yesterday, and the ice that you can see looks good, if a bit thin. But there is a lot of snow on the lower angled terrain that prevents seeing like 1/2 route. My assessment - it looks good, and worth doing. So do the routes to the right. I'd go back now if I wasn't leaving for the holidays tonight. Edited December 20, 2006 by mtnfreak Quote
