Need a room in the Gorge

I just moved back to WA and will be teaching at Mtn View HS in east Vancouver. I don't know yet whether we'll be living in Vancouver or not as I need to wait on some jobs my gfriend applied for. As it is, I need a place to rent for the short term (she hasn't moved yet.) A room would be fine, a house fine, something that is month by month and low committment. I'm a non-smoker, don't have our dogs with me, they're still in ID. I kayak, climb, etc. So I'm not around a lot on the weekends. Let me know if anyone out there would like to help me out. I'm also not picky, just need a roof and a shower. In fact if you have a decent yard I could pitch my tent in, shout out, maybe it'll work for me.
