JDesey Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 My buddy and I are doing an end to end run at all the Cal 14R's in august.... totally self supported.. what we need is to leave a car at the trailhead of Split Mountain and get a transport to the other side of Palisade glacier....this allows us to hit the first 7 peaks straight thru and end up at Split..' can anyone direct me also looking for Beta on the climb as a straight thru feel free to email.... iluka Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 (edited) Check out this website: http://bobskiing.com/ It's a site about backcountry skiing in the Sierra but the guy who runs it knows a great deal about summer and winter travel in the range and has climbed all the 14ers (as well as skied the Sierra High Route in, get this, one day!).
