colt45 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I think it's good to let people know about RR. Maybe that would lead to better protection for the area (every time I go there, the housing developments seem to be closer to the park...) Quote
powderhound Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 well, I enjoy not having turons staring at me while I climb, and it could make the camping worse than it is. already. Quote
colt45 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 If you climb more than 5 minutes from the road this won't be an issue...not many "turons" are going to hike to Eagle Wall or Sherwood Forest. Plus the camping already sucks so I tend to stay at a hotel at the edge of town (cheap!!) I figure the more people who head out to experience some nature, the better, although this will inevitably lead to overcrowding in certain areas (eg Yos valley) Quote
Aya Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 I also just saw a visa commercial featuring calico cliffs... Quote
powderhound Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 Hey did you ever find the "stucture" that is up on the sherwood forest. My buddies and I were going to go up there for a rest day and never made it, is it worth it? Bryan Quote
