Potemkin Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Hey all, I'm new around here, but some folks suggested I look here for some beta. I was out kayaking over the weekend, and saw what appeared to be some (potentially) nice routes along the coast of Gambier Island in Howe sound. These were mainly clean falls into open water, with a few that looked better as well protected climbs. Is anyone familiar with climbing around there that could give me a few pointers? thanks Quote
G-spotter Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Some of those routes have been done as deep water sllos over the years. Also some have been done by climbers belaying out of canoes. I heard a funny story about the tide going out while someone was climbing, and since the canoe was anchored to the rock with cams in a crack to keep it from floating away, it turned into a portaledge Quote
