Couloir Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 (edited) I'm planning on using this as a base for several different trips within the park in a few weeks. If you have stayed here, can you provide any suggestions for spots to try and reserve? Or more importantly, ones to avoid? For an extended visit, I am just trying to pick a cool spot in a rather large campground. Thanks Edited June 5, 2006 by Couloir Quote
cluck Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 There are no "cool" spots in Cougar Rock. It is a standard car camping kind of place, which can be very convenient but not really cool. Only advise is steer clear of the spots directly adjacent to the bathrooms. Sure it is common sense, but if you are close by you have to deal with your neighbors walking through your camp and listening to toilets flushing all the time. I'd say that would be not cool. Quote
