magellan Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 April 1... Traditionally the day of the deepest snowfall measurements for the season. From here on out it's all consolidating and turning to runoff. (With the occasional snow squall, of course.) Spring is here and summer is coming! Washington snow depths not too far above average North Cascades Hwy to open before the end of the month Quote
chris Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 From the 13 March report: "The deepest accumulation was beneath Liberty Bell where snow was more than 45 feet deep over the highway." Impressive Quote
magellan Posted April 2, 2006 Author Posted April 2, 2006 I'd love to get out there and drive one of those snow eaters, blowing snow 40' in the air! I don't know about the bottom of the slide chutes. I've read over 75 feet deep off Liberty Bell. Quote
