G-spotter Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Squeezed in a weekend in Lillooet. -10c overnight at Carlsberg but up to +6 or +7C in the daytime. anything south facing is gone but a lot of north facing ice is still in. However it is starting to ablate and will be gone in another few weeks. 3 Ring Circus - upper pitches thin, first pitch not in Three Sisters - thin. The Strand not touching down. Synchronicity - only the top pitch is left; everything else is wet rock. Mixing With Mike - in Counting Chickens - in Loose Lady - in Tube - very thin and scary looking at the top - bottom is fatter (?) Last Call - lots of ice, bottom of the chimney looks thin though. Deep Throat - starting to melt Carls Berg - chandelier and cauliflower mix Cowabunga Dude - looks in from the road but when you hike to the base the first 10m through overhanging shale bands is missing It is possible to traverse left, climb up to ledge, and traverse onto ice if you want to just climb the top 40m. Waiting Game - still waiting Wader Land - starting to melt in the sun. Rambles Left first tier is thin to mixed at the top on both variants. Centre and Right are fat with good ice. Closet Secrets is thin and scary (bailed from the cave) Prophets Wall rock looked doable with lots of ice blobs but the ice on the dagger is really chandeliered and ugly looking. Quote
