walden Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Mens (or unisex) Patagonia waterproof/breathable full zip ski, backpacking & climbing pants. Mens medium- between a 32 to a 34 waist. I bought them used a few years ago and have never worn them. They are like new, in pristine condition, circa mid to late 1990s (I think). 2 Ply construction, very burly, reinforced knees. Suspenders, internal gaiters, crampon/ski edge patches on inner cuffs, zip pockets (2 front, 1 back). Liner is cranberry colored mesh, from the waist about half way down the leg, then smooth tafetta from just above knee level to the cuff. These are all around Waterproof/breathable pants that will last decades- very similar in construction and intent as the venerable Patagonia Storm jacket- perfect for snowshoeing, shoveling out the cabin, spring and fall mountaineering, rainforest hikes, lift served skiing, backcountry snowboarding, pretty much anything that might get you cold and wet in the wilderness. Get them cheap ! $35 bucks plus shipping ! Prefer paypal but will work with you. Quote

raj96290 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Could you tell me the postage cost for NC 27516 ? Are the pants made of light-weight material that when packed doesn't take up too much volume ? hear from you soon !? Raj Quote
walden Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 postage? to NC should be $8.75 priority mail USPS (I just plugged in a 3 lb package). Ill email some pics. They are mountaineering and skiing pants- fairly burly. they are fairly lightweight, but they arent like Marmot precips or Patagonia specters or anything. They can handle some abuse. They pack up to about the size of a large loaf of bread. Quote
walden Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Ill put the pics on the gallery page- for sale. if I can figure out how to do it. If I cant- cause Im daft, which is funny in that I teach photography- PM me your email and Ill attach them that way. Quote

walden Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 well, they are mountaineering pants from the mid 90s or so, not backpacking rain pants. still, for what they are designed to do, pretty small and light- and they will last. Quote
walden Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 they dont weigh 3 lbs, I just plugged in a number that seemed fairly reasonable, considering weight of box, etc. and they are $35 bucks. Quote
