SandPounder Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 (edited) Climb: Mt Hood-South Side Date of Climb: 2/9/2006 Trip Report: We started from Wy'East at 0400Am, Summit at 11:20AM Returned at 3:00PM Had one very slow person that added about 1-2 Hours. The chute was lousy with mixed very hard ice and soft snow. I used a second tool and then had to down climb about 100ft,If you slipped there it would be fast long ride! Be very careful. Other areas were great, we had firm snow all the way, even all the way back to the lodge. Very Windy but not too cold. Edited February 10, 2006 by SandPounder Quote
Couloir Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 We're you the cats that "registered" with a copy of this and this from summitpost? I saw those in the OutClimbing slot and thought, very original. Great job in making it! Quote
SandPounder Posted February 12, 2006 Author Posted February 12, 2006 That would be creative, but no, it was not us. Quote
