The route is from Alpental to Defiance via hiking. From Defiance you have to get to bikes stashed at the Talapus lake TH, and then bike back to Alpental. Visit the yahoo groups page posted on the link above for more information. There are currently 4 teams and a total of 10 participants. There is a limit of 20 people. There is no entry fee, but there are prizes for this unorganized hike. Total mileage is estimated at 23 hiking and 16 biking. You must join the Yahoo Group and get registered to join the race.
