Lions Trail Agreement with Lions Bay Village

LIONS TRAIL

 

An agreement has been reached with the Village of Lions Bay, and the school district, with respect to parking at Lions Bay. This will facilitate access to the peaks along the Howe Sound crest, in Cypress Provincial Park - Lions, Harvey, Brunswick, etc. The arrangement is as follows:

There is room for ten 'public' vehicles at the trailhead on Sunset Road. Park anywhere else at the trailhead ("resident only" areas), and you'll be ticketed if not towed.

There is room for forty vehicles on the gravel field at the elementary school, but on weekends and holidays only. It is a 10-15 minute walk from there to the trailhead, either along the road, or on a roughed out trail below the houses, which leads to a point just below the water treatment building.
