badvoodoo Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 I'm going to be to heading through City of Rocks pretty soon, but I have no real info on the place other than a look through the guidebook. Anyone have recommendations on good climbs (up to low 10s) and camping? I've heard the main camping areas are on a reservation system, but are they required for weekdays? Thinker Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 go and camp. if the campground is full then go the BLM campground, which is free. Ask any ranger or stop in at the park office for directions. Most folks at Tracy's in Almo could tell you how to get there, too. You can always call the reservation number and find out how many spots they have left open on the dates you want.
