nolanr Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Are they getting dumped on this winter? Will the High Sierras melt out significantly later than normal this year most likely? Thinking about heading down to dink around the eastern side of the range in July or August. Quote

Jbetoo Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Mammoth Ski Area has guaranteed to be open through July 4 and will likely stay open through July. Tons of snow. Quote
nolanr Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 Bump. Thinking of heading down in early August. Don't have it all planned out, but I definitely want to get into Dusy Basin and Thousand Island Lake area via Devils Post Pile. I've seen a few pictures that are fairly recent, looks like Tuolumne area still has quite a bit of snow on the ground. How's the melting out process going so far? Quote
