monkeyboy Posted September 24, 2002 Posted September 24, 2002 Anyone know where to find one in Seatle area or online? Quote
Alex Posted September 24, 2002 Posted September 24, 2002 good chance of second ascent having one and if you dont find one there, you can buy a real ice tool while youre at it Quote
fishstick Posted September 24, 2002 Posted September 24, 2002 Which model? MEC in Vancouver has (or at least used to have) dozens of the them, but many were tube picks for I think, the Lifetime. There were some alpine and rock picks as well. Note that staff at the store (or in order sales) probably aren't going to know what they are, and that they aren't in the computer system. A visit might be in order, with your tools if you aren't very familiar with the bolt pattern. GB Quote
monkeyboy Posted September 25, 2002 Author Posted September 25, 2002 Thanks for the info. I need to buy a "real one" anyway but I was hoping to replace just the pick because it was borrowed. OOPS! Quote
