mozy Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 A weird thing, searching through the internet to buy a theta ar I've seen pictures of - it seems - two different thetas' ar aout there. If you look at the pictures taht I've attached, you will notice the differences - the inside of the (old?) black theta ar was white, but in the (new?) it is all black. Also the chest pocket zip left to the main zipper is in the "new" diagonally (is this english? - i hope you uunderstand me...), while in the old it was straight vertical. I asked Brian Geddes from Arc'Teryx and he told me "The only change that we did with the Theta AR in 2004 fall/winter is a revised thinner 13mm Gore seam tape instead of the 22mm standard. We haven’t changed the colours as far as the inside goes" But the shell's on the pictures are different! Do you know something about it? Marek Quote
Dru Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 they have probably tweaked the design of the Theta AR about five times since the jacket was first produced in 1997 or 1998. that's 5 different jackets. some very old closeouts can be floating around in the supply room of internet retailers Quote
