Yay for Ian to come down the trail and tell us. Thanks. They got my friend's purse out of the back. We did find her purse in the middle of the road on the way down but they stole her wallet. It was a quick grab and go though, nothing else was taken, my stuff was under the front seat, I guess the moral is not to leave anything visible.
