layton Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 I'd wait another month maybe or a cold snap before headin' up. there's not enough snow to cover the tree well and boulder ankle/tibia breaker traps, but there's enough warm liquid slop up there to make it one step up three steps down. Mysery shoes didn't help much either. With breaking trail and temps like they are it took about 14 hours to get to the Azure Lake saddle. Pure suffering. Most mountain routes are a go, except for faces w/snowpatches or not so steep faces. This is my useful beta for this year, Bye, Mike And for no reason here's a bunch of snugtop greamlins Quote
