catbirdseat Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 No, this is not about Al Gore. A Gore Point is the sharp angled point between the right lane and off or on ramp of a freeway. I've seen 3 gore point collisions in three days or 6 in two weeks, where people drive their cars into the end of the guard rail at off ramps. What's going on here? More drunks or more people falling asleep at the wheel? Why? Quote
willstrickland Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Go watch a left-lane exit gore point from an overpass sometime. Entertaining shenanigans and frequent ambulances. Why? Cell phones, kids, people thinking "I can make it" instead of driving to the next exit and coming back, rain, inconsiderate fux in the right lane who won't let them over to the exit lane, etc, etc. Quote

Dru Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 this is not true. your powers are turned back at the border by our hard working canada customs and revenue unionized government workers. Quote
ken4ord Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 I saw a real good one over on the highway near Cle Elum. Not sure if there was any gore, but it was a good one. Well this ding-dong managed to wedge his SUV up under an over pass at the Roslyn/Cle Elum exit. I think you can still see the tire tracks if you are driving West, at least you could see them last fall. Check it out if youa re going by sometime. Quote
