catbirdseat Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Climbed Slippery Slab Tower with my friends. It was pretty wet, so you couldn't get a decent smear anywhere. It was all edging. It made a 5.4 climb into a 5.4++ or a 5.4MA. The trails were kind of slushy from the recent snow that was rapidly melting, but I didn't mind. What a beautiful fall day for a hike! Glorious! It was great to be outside. BTW, I saw iceguy's name in the summit register. Solo ascent he wrote. Quote
dkemp Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Congrats on your climb - Thats a nice area. We camped at upper Thunder Lake - big views of Daniel\Hinman, etc. Wow, it was wet eh? I bet that was somethin'. Dox Quote
