HappyCamper Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Tried to climb Silver Star via the Burgundy Col. The west face was snow free and visibility was pretty good; upon reaching the Col, we noted that the east face was covered with 3-4 inches of snow and the visibility was poor. Rather than muck around on snow covered rocks in heavy fog we decided to call it good and head back down. Nice powder though; hope more of that falls soon. Quote
David_Parker Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 You should have run up the N. Face of Burgandy instead! Always have a plan B! Quote
