mneagle Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Does anyone know anything about Rawl hex-key bolts (the ones tightened by allen wrenchs)? I'm wondering if they are as strong as the hex-head bolts and whether the tapered head configuration is acceptable on anchors and hangers. Quote
lummox Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 its the bolt diameter that determines shear strength (that and metal hardness). not the bolt head configuration. use a five piece bolt whatever ya do. and the company now goes by the name 'powers' not rawl. Quote
