KCClimber Posted August 9, 2003 Posted August 9, 2003 Anyone up for a route or two or three for those 5 days? I have a fair amount of experience elsewhere (Alaska, Yukon, Europe, S. America, Can. Rockies) and have already done Stuart N. Ridge, Liberty Ridge, Baker N. Ridge, Liberty Crack/Beckey, Index/Town Crier, Adams Glacier, Shuksan, Glacier Peak-FBR, etc. well-travelled classics in N. Cascades. Would love to do Vesper, Goode, Prussik, Forbidden, Dragontail, Olympus etc. although I am up for anything. Uh.....Thanks.... Quote
meganerd Posted August 10, 2003 Posted August 10, 2003 Hey, I'd like to do the Ptarmigan Traverse over those exact few days surprizingly enough. Although I'm in generally good shape, I'm not a great climber by any means, so I'd really like to treat it as more of a backpacking trip than a climb. I would like to scamper up some peaks though like Formidable, LeConte, Old Guard, or especially Dome. If you want to haul ice screws, the N Face of Sinister looks mega cool. Quote
meganerd Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 Please reply even if you can't/don't want to do the Ptarmigan with me. The other option that I would like to do with those five days would be Luna and Fury in the Picketts. Quote
russ Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 I could do Vesper on 8/18 - can't take off the rest of the time. I've done most of the routes you listed above. Quote
KCClimber Posted August 16, 2003 Author Posted August 16, 2003 Hi, Sorry it has taken a while to get back to you. I was away working. Still interested? Dome area looks awesome! The pickets works too. Heard the Ptarmigan is starting to get a little out of shape. Will be away Sat./Sun. Cheers, KC. Quote
