neversummer Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 So a waterhose on my car burst today, and I used this plastic tape stuff by edelbrock to patch it untill I can get the hose from the dealer on monday. I was planning on driving somewhere a fair distance tomorrow. Has anybody ever used this stuff, its called powerbond? Its like electrical tape but stonger with no adhesive. Does it hold, and should I trust it? Quote
Fence_Sitter Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 man if you want, i can put the hose on for you... what make and model is your car... the part can probably be found in a NAPA store and i can put that shit in for ya... and igive you your helmet... Quote
neversummer Posted July 27, 2003 Author Posted July 27, 2003 I can put the hose in no problem, but Napa and Schucks dont stock it and the generic stuff just kinks when I tried to run it from the head to the flush valve. So i gotta get it from Acura on monday. Its really no big deal except that I am afraid to drive tomorrow. I should get that helmet from you before wednesday sometime... Quote
catbirdseat Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 Sometimes you can use an elbow, either 45 degrees or 90 degrees to prevent kinking. Quote
