JensHolsten Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 These tools are in new condition. They have been used 6 or 7 days total. I know it’s not ice season, but this is a good deal! Quote
Ed-the-Ted Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Hi jens. I am interested. Where are you located. I’m in Portland: 619-994-5322. And question: is your tie in for umbilicals a secure point in the shaft? I have heard of people dripping the griprest off by falling on a tool but I think it was with the newer nomics with the spike on the bottom... love petzl gear and wa shrinking I would get a pair and then place a tie in on top of handles grip, but wasn’t certain how that was going to feel in the hand. I like where you have yours. Quote
Linnaeus Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Ed-the-Ted: These older Gen2/3 Nomics have a hole under the pommel to securely attach some cord for a tether. You will notice many Nomic users adding some 5mm cord through this hole for their tethers. This looks like recycled 6mm Mammut Contact sling material instead of cord, but same idea. It is different than the 2018 redesigned Nomic pommel. See pictures here: https://coldthistle.blogspot.com/2010/11/old-nomic-and-new-nomic.html Quote
