    You are right. It’s a vintage snow picket from Charlet Moser (pieu au neige). They continued to manufacture it throughout Charlet Moser’s transition to Petzl. The idea is that an ice axe shaft would meet the requirements of a snow picket. Cool vintage stuff that you’ve got there…
