Total longshot, but figured it wouldn't hurt to post. My husband and a friend have been planning and training for some time to climb Rainier on the DC route next week (super short notice, I know!). Unfortunately their third just cancelled on them so looking for a third for the climb last minute. He has summited Rainier before (she has not), has many years of mountaineering and both have taken alpine mountaineering courses, both summited Baker in June as well and are in excellent conditioning. Looking for a third that would be a good fit with some mountaineering experience and familiar with glacier travel. They have permits, Camp Muir reservation, tent and even a couple rooms at the Inn for showers and some sleep if wanted before & after.
