Thanks for the reply, Dan. Sorry my plans didn't work as expected and I'm now on the Portland part of my roadtrip. Maybe the weather will be good and perhaps Hood or Adams could be a possibility.

Would you like to climb either Wednesday or this Thursday around the Portland area? Would love to get out on Wed. especially because it's supposed to be super nice... I can follow up to 5.9, but am a new climber just getting into leading. I have harness and shoes with me, but am on my way up to Alaska so I don't have a rope or rack. Does anyone want to climb Rainier sometime between the 11th and the 15th? This is very short notice, but I am passing through WA from CO and have time to climb it this week, if I can find a partner. I am looking to do one of the easier routes, either Disappointment or Emmons, and would be happy to carpool and split gas from the Seattle area or surrounding locales (leaving the afternoon / night of the 11th or something like that...) Have some experience winter climbing in the Cairngorms of Scotland, and I'm acclimated to an altitude of about 10,000 feet right now, so I think I'd be able to keep up.

Hi! Was wondering if you'd be up for climbing Rainier sometime after the 10th, let's say between the 11th and the 14th?
