Is anyone interested in climbing Mount Olympus over a weekend before mid Sept? I can without too much difficulty go to the WIC the day before to get a permit for glacier meadows. Would prefer to do the climb with only 2 nights, maybe over labor day weekend if the weather is good though it could be a zoo up there then.
Anyway, I'm a moderately experienced mountaineer and in reasonably good shape right now (28M). In the past few weeks I've climbed Jefferson (led across the no-fall snowfield), Stuart, and Glacier. I'm very comfortable on steep snow slopes and have crevasse rescue experience (have actually had to pull someone out). I've done all of the major Cascade volcanoes and other things like Shuksan and El Dorado. I don't have alpine trad experience nor a rack though.
I'll be in Bellingham through Sept 22, so if anyone has other trip ideas I could potentially be interested as well.
Cheers
