Just spent 3 days on Rainer & went to 11700 on the Ingrahm Direct but had to turn back because of snow conditions. Ive checked & parties have summited today via the DC & ID. I would love to give it another go but my partners want to try somthing a little less commiting. Looking for atleast one experienced partner. Traveling to Washington from Eastern Canada to attempt Mt.Rainer in late May. We are planning on doing the Ingrahm direct if conditions are suitable. If not we will look into the DC route. Any information on these two routes would be greatly appreciated. Are snow shoes usually required for the approach during May? Thanks, Dan
