I have 5 days off and was thinking of heading out to the sawtooths to do some climbing! I really want to get out to the elephants perch. I know its short notice but if there is anyone who will be in the area or is willing to drive out and meet me in idaho shoot me a message!

Haha, ya I was super bummed when I heard the test was canceled, but its alright I've been on top twice this summer already, and there will be many more baker ski days this winter!

haha Thanks, It was an awesome day. I meant to post this under the trip report section but it didn't work, haha, I'm hopeless on computers. were you the two climbers on colfax or the other group going to the summit?

Trip: Mt. Baker - CD Date: 10/18/2011 Trip Report: A couple weeks ago I went up to Baker with a couple of friends for my first day of skiing for the season!!! The plan was to climb to the top via the coleman-demming, ski down and be back in bellingham by 3 for class and work. We got to the trailhead at 3:30 in the morning and were hiking by 4. We reached the top of pumice ridge by 11 and had to turn around so that I wouldn't be late for a midterm. It was a great ski down and we made it back to b'ham just in time for the test.... but the test was canceled !!!! oh well. It was a beautiful bluebird day in the mountains and I'm super stoked for the adventures this season will bring!! here are some pictures from the trip!
