Really late idea, but I'll throw it out there anyway. I'm planning a solo South Climb Fri-Sat on Adams but would really prefer a different route (Mazama Glacier?) with a partner to avoid the large number of people likely to be on the South Climb. My experience is not great. I've done the south climb a few times, took a 1 week mountaineering class on Baker in June (so familiar with cravase rescue) and I'm in generally good shape. Not even sure Mazama Glacier is worth doing this late in the year so maybe it just the South Climb. Either way I'll be outside which is good.
