  1. Well I did one day at the Batu Caves in KL, which was pretty nice. I may go back after my short trip to Borneo. And afer that, heading up north to Ipoh and the Cameron Highlands.
  2. I probably won't spend too long in Railay/Tonsai anyway, maybe just get 2 days of climbing or so. Not much to do there besides climbing anyway. I didn't now about spirit mountain though, thanks for that. I guess that's another place to spend a few days. What else is there to do in Ao Nang though? Last time I was there, it seemed pretty uninteresting. Also looking forward to climbing in Chiang Mai again.
  3. Prices are rather high. Ropes for 900+ RM, no-name quickdraws for 120+. I'm gonna pick up a rope at Madmonkeyz gym for 450 tomorrow. I asked there for quickdraws... They only had one.
  4. Well I have a harness, shoes, locking biner, atc and chalk bag. I basically need quickdraws, a few slings, a daisychain, a few locking biners and a rope. Were you thinking of Outdoor Centre on Jl Ampang?
  5. I was planning on climbing at the Batu caves early on and will be heading to Ipoh at some point also, but I'm not sure when. Can you recommend a good place to buy gear in KL?
  6. I am heading to Malaysia tonight then traveling through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. I will be spending about three weeks in each of these five countries and hope to climb often. If you are in the area and are looking for a climbing partner, let me know. At the moment, I only have a harness and shoes but will be buying more gear this week. So far I've been through Indonesia and have been lucky enough to find a partner there, and it was pretty sweet. I look forward to climbing again.
