  1. Looking for a third partner for Aconcagua, Polish Direct or Traverse depending on conditions. Exact dates TBD but planning on heading down the week of Dec 18th, probably 18-21 days total Both of us are in our 20s and fairly experienced. Between us we've done Denali, Orizaba, Cotopaxi, Cayambe, Rainier and Baker among others. The Polish Direct can be steep and icy so glacier skills are essential. Ideally you've been above 14k. We plan to hire mules but otherwise self-sufficient. Message me if interested!
  2. Marmot Troll Wall, Men's Medium, GoreTex Pro Shell. Bought last year, taken on two trips and in very good condition. Has removable powder skirt. Fits pretty loose on me (40" chest). Retail $475, sell for $180 (non-negotiable) including shipping. Paypal only. The North Face Aleutian 20 SOLD
  3. Anybody know what conditions are like on the Hotlum-Bolam or Hotlum-Wintun routes?
  4. Did you use the screws at all, or a second tool?
  5. Will any decent routes on Adams still be in condition by early Aug? Was thinking in particular about Adams Glacier or the NW Ridge. My partners want to do this but I'm not flying all the way from the east coast for the South Spur.
  6. Away and unable to ship for a few weeks, might repost for sale later.
  7. Scarpa Inverno UK 11.5/US 12.5. SOLD Black Diamond Sabretooth Pro w/Extender Bars. SOLD Black Diamond Raven 70 cm. SOLD
  8. Hey, I'm looking to hook up with a group for Rainier ideally in July. Anybody with firm plans who'd welcome another partner? Attempted it last week with a guided group but guides called it off at Camp Schurman because of avi danger high on the peak. I performed well and am anxious to give it another shot. I'd have to catch a ride with you to the mountain from Seattle or wherever. Let me know if you're interested.
  9. Hi everybody, I've wanted to attempt Rainier for a long time as a gateway into mountaineering and finally might have the magic combo of time and money. I'd like to join up with others for an attempt ideally in late May or early/mid June. About me, I'm a 26 year old guy in great physical shape but no mountaineering experience other than backpacking and hiking. I'm a runner and gym rat and would up my training even more to be in best possible shape by summer. I'd like to team up with others with experience on the mountain. For routes, I'm obviously not looking at the very technical stuff but would rather avoid the crowds on DC if possible. Because I'll be flying in from the east coast I'd want to join up with a group whose plans are set in stone. I can't shoulder the expense of having the trip fall through at the last minute. PM me if you're interested and we can talk, thanks!
