I probaly won't be able to take any mountaineering classes til next year. I was wondering if there are any dvd's out there that teach belaying and basic mountaineering to hold me over till next year? I searched and found a out of print dvd called waterfall ice but it didn't look like it was what i was looking for. Thanks

So im looking forward to attemping adams in late june or early july for my first ever summit and i still have a few questions. What would you recommend for a good boot that doesn't break the budget? i got a good pair of double lowa mountaineering boots but they weigh 7 pounds and seem like they might be too much for a adams. I'm hoping to camp at lunch counter i was wondering if when people make there summit attempt from there do they leave gear behind in there tents like tent, sleeping bag etc.? Thank You, Justin

Hi, I'm planning on attemping my first summit on adams in mid june. I'am alittle confused about the camping cold spring or morrison? and is there ample room at these campgrounds in the summer if there are no reservations? Any info in general on camping for the south spur would be great. Thanks In Advance, Justin
