Went down the 'Hanging Glacier Headwall' yesterday. Same conditions as you. Non idyllic, for sure. Heard that you were bootpacking up to get to somethin interesting from Russel (I think thats his name). Thanks for sharing the 'secret'!
so want to enjoy that ripper undisclosed line!
After the entrance, it looks like you went the way down the NWCouloir that I should have gone! That nasty side slip was pretty crappy.
Sweet turns dude!
Looking for a partner to climb ski steeper lines on Shuksan. Even if you're not available for this High pressure system, drop me a note 'cause I"m looking to expand my partner base. Merry new year!
It was an excellent day. Thanks Val for leading the way and having the silly idea with me! My Photos are here:

Nice in getting it done. I'm glad you guys are back, I was somewhat confused when you didn't respond to a 'lets go climbing email' on Monday.... ha. But you already were.
I was up there Sunday. The snow was gloppy mush on the approach and descent. The Slot was decent, with a combination of corn and hard frozen snow. I have yet to do it with pow in it:( Have fun!
Hey, that's me, Ian, with that heavy-looking orange pack. It was only ~40-45 lbs... And skis were quite nice on the descent. Kind of wish that we did it in a day trip like yourselves, instead of carrying that extra weight and camping. Glad you guys made it up there!
