  1. Looking for a partner for the West Butt early June 2013. PM me or reply if interested and we can see if the fit is right. A little about me: - ~12 years experience climbing - Prior experience at high altitude (~6x above 17k, 1x above 22k) - Solid glacier travel / crevasse rescue skills - Looking to go light - Nearly always smiling
  2. I'm looking for climbing recommendations from anyone who has climbed or has thought of climbing in South Korea. I'm most interested in longer routes up less traveled mountains although I'd be happy to hear your craging recomendations as well. I am aware of this site, which has a ton of information but I'd also appreciate any first-hand experiences from NW climbers. http://www.koreaontherocks.com/ Thanks!
  3. I've climbed Cotopaxi, Rucu Pinchinca, and Illiniza Norte. PM me if you have specific questions and I'd be happy to tell you about my experience and give recommendations. I also have the Brandt climbing guide for Ecuador if you want to get on some of the less traveled peaks without a guide, which I would recommend.
  4. I'm an intermediate ice climber relatively new to the Seattle area looking to hook up with some fellow ice climbers for the upcoming season. I've done most of my ice/alpine climbing in Colorado. I know the PNW isn't Vail or Ouray but I know there is some adventure out there to be had and I've got the desire to find it. Do you? If so, message me back and we can meet at a local gym for some preliminary climbing and make sure the fit is bueno. You: Have axes, crampons and desire to climb. Experience negotiable. Me: Have axes, crampons, screws, car, experience and evenings and weekends free. Will travel. The common goal: Laughing hard and climbing big on multi-pitch ice/alpine routes.
