  1. I'm game too. I'm would be coming down from near Seattle and would prefer to plan the push for the summit Sunday morning. Either from the parking lot near the lodge or from the top of Palmer, whatever suits you better. The key would be to be early, first, and fast to get out of the rockfall zones before people with tennis shoes and garden gloves start kicking everything loose on us. Email is in my profile if you want to get in touch. Dave
  2. I can do June 7th too. I would be headed down from Kirkland (work) or North Seattle (home) on Friday, so maybe Pete and I could pick up jmo in Tacoma. Not everyone has their emails in their profiles, but let's get some emails going around: wrigleyd at gmail dot com
  3. Same as jmo. I'm game. I was at Mount Hood this winter for some skiing and crevasse rescue practice but didn't have a chance to do any climbing above Timberline.
  4. TerryMedicX, LeeH, jmo, I'm interested in hooking up with a group this holiday weekend. I was planning a day hike (maybe an overnighter) at Camp Muir solo, but I would love to join up with a group for a summit attempt. I've got all of my gear and some group gear. If I don't hear anything, I'll be the one at Camp Muir eating beef jerky and couscous.
  5. I too am new to Seattle! I haven't done much trad or sport, but I can probably follow a 5.8 without too much trouble based on what I could do in a gym back in Michigan. I am more into alpine stuff and mountaineering, but I am interested in getting into trad. I was thinking of taking an overnighter to Camp Muir this holiday weekend, maybe hooking up with a party there or heading down the next day. Hit me with a PM if you have any climbs in mind.
