Anyone been up the North Fork Quinault recently? Looking for an updated trip report. (hoping some of those 150+ fallen trees have been cleared) ONP doesn't have anything past mid-Sept. Cheers!

WEED! WHERE? Count me in...

I believe the traverse from Sol Doc to N. Fork Quinault is in the neighborhood of 65 miles one-way. Friend & I are planning to do it late Sept & hoping to cut it down to 3 days. I’ve done Whiskey Bend to N. Fork in about 17 hrs, but obviously.. Bailey Range is a little more technical and challenging then a nice flat trail. If you do it.. please post a trip report. Enjoy

Bruce & I are heading back to the Olympics this Sept to do the Bailey Range Traverse. You can read our last adventure under the (TR Olympic National Park - Whiskey Bend to North Fork Quinault 9/21/2007) Question I have: Is it possible to get to Skyline Trail from the traverse without have do go down to Elwha Basin, Chicago Camp & up to Low Divide? Say? Mount Noyes down to Skyline? Cheers... James
