  1. I have a week off work. I am an experienced Mountaineer with a 4x4. I summited Mnt Baker last summer. I want to do multiple major peaks all as dayhikes. I would like some suggestions. First, Mnt. Baker via Easton glacier (rd to heliotrope washed out still). I am also looking for partners. I will provide all fuel (my truck runs on waste veg oil). Pls e-mail me at travis@greenconversion.net
  2. thanks, but I am just starting a new job and do not have time for anything more than a weekend course. I really wanted to attend the RMI Crevasse rescue class May 18th, I am on the waiting list, if any of you are singed up but can't make it please let them know (and ask them to put Travis on the list in your place
  3. I would love to climb Rainier this summer. I am a novice but plan on getting experience this spring. Please let me know when you are planning on going,
  4. I am new to the area and would like to get out for an easy hike Sunday, May18th and looking for hiking partners. I am open to ideas, but what I was planning to do is drive up to Heather Meadows Day Lodge Parking lot on Mount Baker Highway. From what I have read the road is open to here year round. From there I was planning on donning snow shoes or crampons (depending on snow conditions) and hike to Artist point and possibly along kulshan ridge or even table mountain if conditions are good. But the main goal just checking out the area and conditions. I am semi-experienced mountaineer but new to glaciated peaks. I was going to take the RMI Crevasse Rescue course May 18th but it is full so I hope to be able to take the next one.
