Hi -- I'm new to Portland and am looking to do some mountaineering next spring. I'd like to meet possible partners for this, as well as training in the rock gym in the meantime. I have basic climbing experience, but haven't had a partner to consistently climb with. I'm open to either beginner/intermediates who want to go through the learning process with me, or someone with more experience who doesn't mind showing me a few things.
I was thinking after-work gym climbs a couple times a week, and outside ventures on the weekends. If you'd like to join me on an occasional run or bike ride too, great.
As you would be someone I'd be putting a lot of trust in and also spending a fair amount of time with, I'd want to meet first and see if we're compatible.
