Looking to find experienced Lead/Guide or team to climb Rainier via DC anytime in Aug. Next year scheduled for hip replacement surgery and that will put me out of commission and my dream of summiting for a long time. I’m 40, 200lb, 5’10”, have all gear. Challenges: *Osteoarthritis; both hips shot and their mobility range limited (but I can do any incline with shorter steps) *Can’t go with Professional Guide Services as they are all booked and most likely, I’ll be kicked out because of my slow pace. *No summits, just going back and forth for training to Muir and Si (I know…) * You may find more... Pros: *I have trained hard last 1 ½ years specifically for this climb, lost over 88lb. *Good cardio, strength. *With slow but steady pace will probably do it 3-4 days round trip( maybe sooner) *Will be eternally thankful to anyone who is up to the challenge, I will compensate the expenses, and +.
