hi pug..thanks for the good info. we are planning on the lunch counter as the overnight stop. would your recommended route be the same as the mazamas route? will it be more like a long hike as opposed to climbing? thanks again. rich and sam.

my 14 yr old son and i are climbing mt adams in the first week in july. will we need crampons to summit? we plan on 2 day hike. any other tips would be helpful also. thanks.

i posted on the newbie board, but haven't located 2 climbers that helped me on 6/11/06. i am looking for "charlie frederick and mitch". i met them on the trail to mt hood summit. my photos did not turn out, and we said would share pictures. we enjoyed a great (first-time) climb and summitted at 9:45am. if anyone can help me locate these 2 guys, i would appreciate it. i believe they are teachers from the portland area....thanks.
