  1. For Sale: lightly used Marmot Col down sleeping bag, rated to -20 degrees, sized long (I'm about 6'1" and it fits me well). This is THE standard sleeping bag for winter camping and mountaineering trips to Alaska and Canada. It has 800 fill down and a Gore Dryloft shell. It is incredibly warm, lightweight, and really well made. I've used this bag for just two trips to Alaska and it is in very good shape. No holes, tears, or rips, and the zipper works like new. Asking $400. I'm hoping to sell this to a Portland area climber so we can both avoid shipping. FYI, this bag is the early model, with a yellow top and black interior. Please let me know if you have any question. I'm happy to email photos. John
  2. Old school Life Link avy poles. These are long - 54 inches from top to bottom, so you'll want to be pretty tall or like to use long poles. Each screws into the other for a 9 foot probe. I'd like to give these poles to someone who needs them. Since I'm giving these away, I'm not inclined to ship them or drive too far to meet you. (I work in Tualatin and live in NE).
  3. For Sale: Silvretta 404s on a pair of 173 Rossignol Olympics. These are used, of course, but are in great shape. The skis probably don't have much value but the bases are in good shape and they are lightweight. This is a perfect set up for someone needing a pair of glacier skis for mountaineering or approach skis for climbs. I'm also including skins - the whole package. The bindings are sized Large (U) and they are pretty adjustable. I've used them with my size 12 double boots and they are easily field adjustable for different boot sizes. The bindings alone usually sell for about $100, so I think $125 is fair for bindings, skis, and skins. Let me know if you have any questions. Edit: photo added in gallery
  4. Hey Ricky, I have a good amount of aid gear I'd like to pass on to another climber. I'll send you a list when I get bcak home and unload my closet. John
  5. I found a 70 cm GM tool on south side of Hood today. It has an identifying mark on it - if you ID it, I'd like to get it back to you. John
