  1. I'm selling a pair of size 27 Scarpa T2 Eco Telemark boots, last year's model. These are the light green ones. The liners have been molded once. I used these on three easy tours and a handful of nights cruising Central before ultimately deciding that the fit just wasn't right for me. The boots are in excellent condition; if the liners hadn't been molded I would have posted them as "like new." Asking $225; will send pictures on request. I'm in Seattle and am happy to meet with anyone who wants to check these out.
  2. Hmmm... a lost thread, and a corresponding found thread. Were you folks able to connect?
  3. I was just going through some books at home, and happened to be placing McPhee's 'Basin and Range' back on the shelf... glad to see you folks talking him up. He does an excellent job placing geologic processes in the context of geologic time, and makes plate tectonics almost exiting. 'The Control of Nature' is also worth a look, although it has little to do with geologic features you might be out climbing. Tabor was mentioned previously: his 'Guide to the Geology of Olympic National Park' has some pretty cool fold-out maps, and great pictures. It's out of print, but available for cheap online.
  4. I figure this is a long shot posting here, but here goes. I found a camera tripod left on the McClellan Butte trail on 5/29 - I think it was left by the large party I passed who were heading down because the lost the trail. I also picked up a variety of water bladder parts, which I left at the trailhead. I figured the tripod would get stolen of used for taget practice at the trailhead, so took it home and have been posting where I can. PM and I'll get it back to you...
  5. I am selling my Cloudveil Switchback Pants, size large. These are like new, great Scholler pants. I've worn them three of four times only, they just don't fit quite right - a little big for me. I don't know, maybe I am losing weight, but the seem to get bigger every time I put them on. These sell for $165.00 new - I'd like to get 100 bucks for them, which is a pretty good deal for someone. Could save you a bundle over paying retail plus tax and shipping for basically a new pair of Scholler pants. Located in Seattle. PM for contact info. Cloudveil Switchback Just Added: I totally forgot about a jacket I've had for a few years I'd like to sell as well. Also made by Cloudveil, it's an older Serendipity Jacket, red with grey on the bottom half of the sleeves, size small. Not sure where this came from - seemslike it's been in my closet forever. It's in great shape, but is probably one of the first of these to be made. Make an offer. Pics available of both, let me know if there are any questions.
