They should build the rail where it's needed most first.
No shit....like between Portland and Vancouver, that traffic sucks beyond sucks.
If you choose to live in the couve to duck OR property tax but do all your shopping in OR to duck WA sales tax you deserve to sit in traffic for being such a cheap asshole.
They should make the I-5 bridge a toll bridge and only charge people who drive across it more than 1x a day

The headwall pitches on Outerspace require very little actual crack climbing technique.

If link ups count you will find link ups just as good (if not better) as anything in WA at Beacon Rock (don't let the crazy old guys make you think it is in OR)

An aid climber, sport climber, and trad climber are in a public restroom.

So Stuart and I were in there today. Half a foot of soft fluff on top of an unconsolidated base. By the time we reached the base of the west face it was postholing when out of the trees. The base just hadn't consolidated enough. Lots of wallowing basically.
I think we need some more warm cycles and wet snow to fall and then another cold snap to bring things into condition on the west face at least.
ahem... ahem...
all the wannabe hardmen and women know that fresh snow + no warm period = lots and lots and lots of unconsolidated snow to wade through......hopefully some gumby punters will take the carrot and install a bootpack on Big 4 and Index so next weekend when everything has settled out the wannabe hardmen can send with ease...
