Yeah, the only hard part is the $1500 deposit you have to put on the credit card now, not being able to collect pledges till december, and not getting the $1500 refunded till you raise all $3500

Hey everyone. I am considering applying for a Summit For Someone climb. This is a guided summit climb of one of 11 mountains in the US and Canada. The catch is each climber must raise $3500 in pledges. This money goes directly to Big City Mountaineers, and will provide for 5 at risk teens and one youth agency leader to participate in a Big City Mountaineers summer backpacking program. My question is if anyone on this forum would be willing to pledge $10 to $20 dollars for my climb. Thanks, Jesse

I have been looking at this pack for some time, and just found out Osprey has discontinued it. Does anyone out there have it? How do you like it. I just need that little push to go buy one. I would be using it for Mountain Rescue type stuff, so I am not really interested in something "lighter", due to the fact I have to carry my personal gear, as well as ALS Medical Gear and Rescue equipment. I like the Ceres 70, just havn't been able to find much info on it. Thanks, Jesse

Hey everyone. I am finishing up my training with the AMR Reach and Treat team, and wanted to say hi to everyone on the forum. Hopefully I will never have to meet any of you in a professional capacity. To the guys on here with PMR, I look forward to working with you.
