I'm looking for a November 8 or 15 weekend climb, and I'm wondering how the conditions are on Shasta this time of year (typically).

I was just out in April, and rental cars were widely available from every rental car company for approximately $17.00/day. That was for a 4 door Ford Taurus. It's a no brainer....the shuttle is way too expensive.
