  1. If you can deal with the hour wait Le Pigeon comes highly highly recommended.:yoda:

Definitely. And I did have the pigeon when I was there...incredible. Lots of little bones! But be ready to sit at a table with a bunch of other folks...which is fine except the couple we were sitting next to (two dudes) were going though a bad break-up. sickie

  2. you might try clearing out your cookies. do it both on the page below, but also in your browser.

    nice booty.

    Why thank you!

Yeah, did the cookie thing in both places several times, but to no avail. No worries, just throwing it out there to see if there was an obvious issue/solution. Thanks Porter

  3. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or if it's even related to the upgrade (though this problem began with the upgrade) but when I to the the log in page and log in, it immediately takes me to the forum...which is good. But I don't actually get logged in. I have to do it a second time and then I am finally in.

It's not a major issue since I eventually get in, but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

Thank you, my donation will be in shortly. :brew:

  4. Not sure who keeps records of this stuff, but I say go for it. 7 hours is probably doable if jogging the entire route is doable for you. The crux is the bowling alley. If you can get through that quickly and unscathed, then you're really only faced with a lot of energy-sucking scree to contend with everywhere else. Make sure you have the correct ridge picked out on the north side SS before you head up. It's pretty straight forward, but just find your route well in advance. Good luck!

Grivel North America Over and Out

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hail Citizens,

Grivel North America ceased distributing Grivel products on September 1st, 2008. We did our best over the last few years to keep the company alive but the flagging US economy and the Euro’s strength against the dollar prevented us from doing so.

Retail customers may contact the following dealers to purchase Grivel ice axes, crampons, helmets, ice screws, packs and some replacement parts while supplies remain.

Warranty and repair issues must wait until Grivel determines how they will service the North American market in the future. Stand by for more information.

I thank the individuals who used Grivel ice tools and crampons and believed in the performance enough to keep doing so year after year.
