"Can I borrow that cool jacket?"

Why do I have to log in twice in order for it to work?
Same for me. Something about hurling your cookies...
Well, I'm glad I'm not alone now.
-
...I had to throw my bike over my shoulder and walk it home.
That's cyclocross buddy! Some of us do that for fun on the weekends!

In Portland, I just went to a place called Pine State Biscuits on SE Belmont. The best biscuits I have ever had. And the signature sandwich is out of control...it's called a Reggie Deluxe: Fried chicken, bacon, egg, cheese in a biscuit, covered in gravy.

Check the link Camilo posted.

you might try clearing out your cookies. do it both on the page below, but also in your browser.
nice booty.
Why thank you!
Yeah, did the cookie thing in both places several times, but to no avail. No worries, just throwing it out there to see if there was an obvious issue/solution. Thanks Porter

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or if it's even related to the upgrade (though this problem began with the upgrade) but when I to the the log in page and log in, it immediately takes me to the forum...which is good. But I don't actually get logged in. I have to do it a second time and then I am finally in.
It's not a major issue since I eventually get in, but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else.
Thank you, my donation will be in shortly.

Good job Joe! I'm curious, in retrospect, are you confident that you were on the right ridge on SS? Coming down Middle, did you have a good view of the route? I'm just surprised it was as difficult as you thought it was.
I'm also wondering if you would have started earlier from Pole Creek so that it was just getting light when you hit the Bowling Alley.

damn! did she leave her panties? can you send them?
She didn't come with any. Just a baret, that 'dress', some cork boots and a sixer of PBR tallboys.
-
can you introduce me?
She just left and I only got her first name.

Sorry, my hands were shaking when I took the picture.

As Bill suggested in the old thread, having some cc.com shirts there to buy would be a great idea.
-
Impressive. Would be even cooler looking down on that from up on the mountain.

Doug Fir has some great pre-fest grub!

Does anybody know of other climbs that people have done in the Northwest using bikes instead of cars to reach the mountains?
Don't forget about the Wang Dang Doodle!

Not sure who keeps records of this stuff, but I say go for it. 7 hours is probably doable if jogging the entire route is doable for you. The crux is the bowling alley. If you can get through that quickly and unscathed, then you're really only faced with a lot of energy-sucking scree to contend with everywhere else. Make sure you have the correct ridge picked out on the north side SS before you head up. It's pretty straight forward, but just find your route well in advance. Good luck!

GNA SIGNS OFF
Grivel North America Over and Out
BY MARK TWIGHT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hail Citizens,
Grivel North America ceased distributing Grivel products on September 1st, 2008. We did our best over the last few years to keep the company alive but the flagging US economy and the Euro’s strength against the dollar prevented us from doing so.
Retail customers may contact the following dealers to purchase Grivel ice axes, crampons, helmets, ice screws, packs and some replacement parts while supplies remain.
The Mountaineer
Mountain Gear
Recreational Equipment, Inc.
Second Ascent
Mountain Equipment Co-Op (Canada only)
Warranty and repair issues must wait until Grivel determines how they will service the North American market in the future. Stand by for more information.
I thank the individuals who used Grivel ice tools and crampons and believed in the performance enough to keep doing so year after year.

She's gone.

Definitely. And I did have the pigeon when I was there...incredible. Lots of little bones! But be ready to sit at a table with a bunch of other folks...which is fine except the couple we were sitting next to (two dudes) were going though a bad break-up. sickie
